As an Operations Manager I in our dynamic team, you will perform daily support functions to include data input, validation, reconciliation, and export of loan data files, valuations for various portfolios and risk scenario runs for business end-users. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and contribute to our team’s success.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs monthly User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for portfolio business system migrations
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies, effectiveness, or timelines through automation, simplification, collaboration, elimination, or communication
- Demonstrate familiarity with loan servicing, pricing, bulk sales, trading, and securitizations
- Maintains of system variables in accordance with business requirements
- Works collaboratively with both internal team members, related business stakeholders and partners towards common goals
- Maintains procedures, guidelines, and controls to ensure integrity of financial information
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Office Professional Suite such as Excel (Visual Basic), Project, Visio, Access and Power point.
- Proficiency in data extraction, manipulation and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc..) with more than 6 months programming experience
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of Mortgage Banking concepts.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- College degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Strong adherence to business/industry practices. Some level of business operations and procedure experience
- Flexible and adaptable in response to changing demands and some tight timelines.
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshoot skills to influence for positive/desired results
