October is here! I am now announcing that the IE Days 2024 will be held on November 4 – 8, 2024. Watch out for the ads from the ALLIES!!!!
I also would like to remind everyone that you can study at the SWELL room in preparation for your exams. The SWELL room will be open from 7:00am to 9:00pm during weekdays and by request during Saturdays. It will be closed during Sundays.

UPD Holds Saliksikhay RIDE Exhibit, IEORD Chair Asst. Prof. Lagria Presents Work
UP Diliman held its 2024 Saliksihay RIDE Exhibit, highlighting the Research, Innovation, Development, and Extension (RIDE) work of dedicated colleagues across various disciplines. Our very own department chair, Asst. Prof. Raymond Freth Lagria, presented his research entitled “The Development of CrisisPulse: A Text-based Extraction System for Microblogs” as a poster at the event.
SCAL Co-head Prof. Jalao speaks at Data Dialogue
Our Supply Chain Analytics Group Co-head Professor Eugene Rex Jalao was a distinguished speaker at the “Data Dialogues: Exploring Insights in Data Analytics“, an event held last September 30 hosted by the University of the Philippines Los Baños Department of Industrial Engineering to celebrate their Analytics and Information Systems [Research] Group (AAISG) Month.
