The IE MINDS Laboratories consist of several Industrial Engineering Labs under the UPD IE Department. Each laboratory has its own focus for research, projects, academic, and extension services.

IE MINDS stands for Industrial Engineering for Methods, Innovation, Networks, Data and Systems:

Methods – classical IE (time and motion, statistics, ergonomics, operations research)
Innovation – continuous improvement and emerging technologies adoption
Networks – supply chain management, logistics, network solutions
Data – modern analytics, information systems, data-driven decision support
Systems – systems integration, systems thinking
