WE’RE HIRING
Position: University Research Associate II
Status: UP Contractual (SG 14)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the IE department in conceptualizing research studies, developing research proposals, and preparing project documentation for funding and ethical review.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and synthesizing relevant literature, industry reports, and research data to support ongoing and proposed research projects.
- Assist in designing data collection instruments, gathering data from surveys, experiments, field studies, databases, or secondary sources, and maintaining research datasets.
- Whenever necessary, perform analysis required for the research activities, which may include statistical analysis, optimization, simulation, machine learning, or other analytical techniques, using appropriate software tools as needed to support the research objectives.
- Assist in drafting, editing, formatting, and proofreading research papers, conference proceedings, technical reports, and other scholarly outputs for publication and presentation.
- Maintain research records, monitor project timelines and deliverables, prepare progress reports, and assist in compliance with institutional and funding agency requirements.
- Prepare presentation materials, posters, visualizations, and technical documentation for conferences, seminars, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate with faculty members, admin staff, students, industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in research, extension, and innovation initiatives of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: With 2 years of relevant research experience
- Training: 20 hours of relevant trainings
